2/24/18 – Over 250 people and 196 runners turned out this morning for the 1st Annual “Run with a Hero” family run/walk hosted at LMP. We are proud and thankful for all our local heroes, and grateful for the LMFD and all our LMP student-athletes who volunteered and helped out. What a great community event!

2/20/18 Sierra Brooks shot -7 to win the individual Sugar Bowl title on Tuesday in New Orleans. The Intercollegiate tournament, hosted by Tulane, was played at English Turn Golf and Country Club. In the final round Brooks took control early with three birdies in the first six holes that allowed her to play conservative golf to the end, winning her second medalist title in her last three events.

Brooks’ win (69-69-71) helped the Gators win the event for the second time in three seasons: 19th ranked Florida shot 9 over to beat No. 11 USC by nine shots, and No. 10 Michigan State by 15 shots. NC State, and SMU were the other two competitors.
