3/30/19 – The LAX team had a 13-9 win over South Lake last week, followed by a tough loss at Holy Christian. Despite the loss, Kate Dawson broke the school record for goals/season with 52 and Rory Whitfield broke the school record for assists with 11 vs. Holy Trinity. Come see our Lady Griffins in action at tonight’s home game vs. Orangewood, 5:00pm. (or Stream Live here if you can’t make it!) Keep up the teamwork and hustle Lady Lax!


4/1/19 – A record-breaking week for Track and Field – congrats to Tyler Cashe on 2 new LMP records as he placed 1st in the 200m and 2nd in the 100m at the Villages Invite on Saturday. JH Track also left their mark in the GOAC JH Track Championships where Stephi Sisofo placed 1st in high jump!

JH standouts:

  • Stephi Sisofo – 1st place, high jump
  • Ben Barth – 2nd place high jump, 8th long jump
  • Ethan Holt – 3rd place high jump, 5th long jump
  • Deven Hanstein – 6th high jump

3a Player of the Year!

3/24/19 – Congrats to Michael Gavin, named 3a Player of the Year for the State of Florida! Averaging 28 points per game this year and breaking the school scoring record (a few times) – his season was highlighted by a 60 point game and several 40+ point games. Gavin is now a finalist for on of Florida’s highest basketball honors: the Mr. Basketball award. Congrats to Michael, the Gavin family and the entire LMP basketball family!

Two Clean Sweeps for V Boys Tennis

3/8/19 – V B Tennis team is coming off of 2 clean sweeps last week over Father Lopez (7-0) and Geneva (7-0). Against Father Lopez, singles matches were won by Aron, Haru, Brandon, Marko, Spence, and doubles wins by Aron/Haru, Marko/Brandon. Geneva fell 7-0 as well with singles wins from Aron, Haru, Brandon, Marko, Spence, and doubles wins Aron/Haru, Brandon/Joel. The JH Tennis team was close behind in their 6-1 wins over Foundation: singles wins Josh, Jayden, Blake, Steven, Cael Jocelyn, Jade, Abby, Addison doubles wins Jayden/Cullen, Jocelyn/Jade.
